She earned a 3.55 cumulative grade point average and eight top 10 finishes in the first 11 events of her Florida State playing career. Woad enjoyed a spectacular year as a freshman as an academic star and an All-American on the course. Williams has earned academic Dean’s List honors three times and academic President’s List honors once during the first four semesters of her career as a Seminole. ![]() Williams helped the Seminoles into match play at the NCAA Finals for the second consecutive season. She finished in a tie for sixth place at the Florida State Match Up during the spring to earn her best finish of her career and played in the ACC Championship, the NCAA Raleigh Regional Championship and the NCAA Championships Finals. Williams played in eight of Florida State’s 11 events as a sophomore, and earned a stroke average of 75.79. Williams, who was named to the Academic All-District At-Large team by the College Sports Communicators earlier this spring, earned a 3.692 GPA during the spring semester and holds a 3.843 GPA for her career as a Seminole student-athlete. Hodge played in each of the Seminoles’ 11 events, including the ACC Championship, the NCAA Raleigh Regional and the NCAA Championship Finals. I take a lot of pride in my schoolwork and grades and always strive to put my best effort forwards.” I always find that good teachers help me to better understand the material. “I also try to take as many in-person classes as I can rather than online classes. ”The most important part of being successful academically for me is staying organized and keeping up with assignments,” said Hodge. Earlier this spring, she was named to the At-Large Academic All-District team by the College Sports Communicators. She has been named to the FSU Academic President’s List twice, and to the FSU Academic Dean’s list four times in the first three years of her career. Hodge, who is nearing completion of her degree in Finance from Florida State University, holds a cumulative GPA of 3.893. The selections of Hodge, Williams and Woad marks the ninth consecutive season that at least two Seminoles have been named to the All-ACC Academic Women’s Golf Team. It marks the first time both Williams and Woad have been named to the prestigious team.
